As part of Domestic Scouting Department, the Area Scout will scout a specified territory and evaluate player talent. Recommend and sign quality major league prospects for the organization.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all baseball-related scouting activity that takes place in the territory
• Build and maintain relationships with players, families, coaches, and advisors in the area
• Evaluate draft eligible players and accurately determine their sign ability 
• The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in scouting or related fields, as well as the ability to successfully evaluate amateur and professional baseball talent at all levels
