Job Description

The Concession Stand Leader is responsible for leading the operations of a specific concession stand or kiosk to ensure exceptional customer service is provided to fans and appropriate inventory levels of product are maintained at the concession stand. The lead will also ensure team members are effectively trained, and concessions food and beverage guidelines are followed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Oversee concession stand staff and daily operations, ensuring efficient product sales and proper maintenance of the stand or kiosk
  • Manage inventory levels in alignment with established management guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to food handling, alcohol service, and safety protocols
  • Accurately process food and beverage orders at concession stands using cashless payment systems, ensuring all transactions follow established procedures
  • Perform operational tasks as needed to support the successful delivery of the concessions menu
  • Effective collaboration with volunteers, team members, and guests to meet service expectations
  • Assist with staff training and team development to promote a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must exhibit strong customer service skills at all times and maintain a neat appearance
  • Proven excellent communication skills
  • Must have ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Work Hours                                            

Hours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays.

Must have availability to work most games and special events
