Provides exceptional customer service in all bar areas by welcoming guests, preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages efficiently and accurately, and maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting bar environment. Ensures compliance with all safety and alcohol service regulations while creating a positive and memorable experience for every guest.

- Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Set up assigned bars; requisitions and stocks all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- Maintain stock, prepare, cures and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly manner
- Take and process orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control
- Verify customers age and identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements
- Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
- Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
- Process payments, make change, and complete charge documentation
- Secure and store all bar items, including beverages, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops
- Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must exhibit strong customer service skills at all times and maintain a neat appearance
- Proven excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; three to six months of experience in food and beverage operations, customer service, or hospitality required.
Work Hours
Hours vary according to the game and event schedule, which will include weekends and some holidays.
