As part of the Performance Nutrition Department, the Associate- Performance Nutrition will provide assistance to the Performance Nutrition staff with nutrition education, nutrition programing, along with a variety of other duties and responsibilities.

Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Arizona-based medical, strength and conditioning, mental performance, and sports science departments to deliver integrated player care.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with athletes, coaches, and staff; demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attend ACL complex games on a rotating schedule with the Performance Nutrition Assistant to provide in-dugout fueling and hydration support; prepare, organize, and transport required nutrition and hydration items for home and away games. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in nutrition counseling in professional baseball or related field. Master's degree in a related field preferred. RD certification is required. This position is based out of our Arizona Spring Training facility in Phoenix, AZ.
