  • Overview

    The Marketing Coordinator serves as an integral creative/administrative arm within the Marketing team – most specifically as it relates to Video Productions, Kids Crew, Crib Crew, and Promotional items. The position works hand-in-hand with Senior Director of Marketing, Video Productions Team, Director of Creative Design and Strategy, and Senior Marketing Coordinator.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Video Productions:

    • Research and coordinate video production-related content, including schedules, set design and locations.
    • Assist Video Productions Team during shoots and live events, helping with lighting, cameras,
      and sound equipment.
    • Coordinate and plan video shoots.
    • Communicate with internal clients on all video project requests.
    • Work with Media Relations, Community Relations, and Clubhouse Staff as it relates to filming with players.
    • Responsible for collecting appropriate waivers and releases for all video shoots.
    • Oversee and track all video projects with project management tool.
    • Collaborate with Video Productions Team on creative ideas and solutions.
    • Act as liaison with FOX Sports Wisconsin to coordinate approvals and trafficking of promotional ancillary inventory.
    • Work with Senior Director of Marketing and Finance Department to oversee budget and track invoices for Video Productions Team.

     

    Kids Crew:

    • Assist with the brainstorming, research and ideation of all Kids Crew elements and events.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Kids Crew vendors to secure promotional item quotes, coordinate purchase agreements, track order deadlines, and oversee item design.
    • Communicate with internal departments as well as day-of-game sales and activation staff as it relates to all Kids Crew activities.
    • Act as Kids Crew customer service representative by answering any miscellaneous Kids Crew communication not handled through Ticket Services Department.
    • Responsible for coordination and day-of-game sales of, and support for, all Kids Crew events.
    • Work with Senior Director of Marketing and Finance Department to oversee Kids Crew budget and track all invoices.

     

    Crib Crew:

    • Assist with the brainstorming, research and ideation of all Crib Crew elements.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Crib Crew vendors to secure promotional item quotes, coordinate purchase agreements, track order deadlines, and oversee item design.
    • Communicate with internal departments as well as day-of-game sales and activation staff for
      Crib Crew.
    • Act as Crib Crew customer service representative by answering any miscellaneous Crib Crew communication not handled through Ticket Services Department.
    • Responsible for coordination and day-of-game sales of, and support for, Crib Crew.
    • Work with Senior Director of Marketing and Finance Department to oversee Crib Crew budget and track all invoices.

     

    Promotional Items:

    • Assist with the brainstorming, research and ideation of all promotional items.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure promotional item quotes, coordinate purchase agreements, track order deadlines, and oversee promotional item design.
    • Assist with making edits and revisions to samples from vendors to ensure accurate final product.
    • Photograph final promotional items for brewers.com, social platforms and advertising campaigns.
    • Help brainstorm and execute creative marketing/advertising campaigns for items.

     

    Administrative:

    • Work closely with Senior Director of Marketing and Senior Marketing Coordinator on all departmental processes, tracking, and invoicing within the respective areas of business.
    • Assist Senior Director of Marketing, Vice President of Marketing and Senior Vice President of Marketing & Fan Experience with administrative tasks as needed.
    • Handle special departmental projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

     

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Media; with 1-2 years of experience in those related fields. Event planning a plus.

     

    Computer Skills  

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.              

     

    Other Skills and Abilities        

    • Must possess strong initiative, reflect high standards, be a self-starter, and detail-oriented
    • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
    • Passion for baseball

    Language Skills                                                

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

     

    Mathematical Skills                                                     

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability      

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

     

    Work Hours                                                     

    Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm, however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays.
