Summary Provides overall supervision/implementation of the strength and conditioning program for minor league players at the Arizona Maryvale complex. Evaluates, motivates, and educates athletes in all aspects as it relates to performance enhancement and durability. Assists with nutritional evaluation for players at the assigned minor league affiliate club. The position requires residing in Arizona during January off-season training, Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, the AZL championship season, and Arizona Instructional League.

Education and/or Experience
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Other computer capabilities required to update websites, submit online reporting and other basic computer related tasks.

Need to be able to find ways to get the most physically out of all players
Bi-Lingual a plus (Spanish, English). Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Requires travel as assigned for all road games, meetings and seminars.
In addition to in-season availability, must also be available for off-season training in Arizona for January 2019, early spring training reporting, and Arizona Instructional League at the direction of the Dir-Medical Ops, the Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach and/or the Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coordinator.
