  • Overview

    Under the direction of the Retail Store Managers, this role will be responsible to provide direction to supervisors and associates in accordance with the Club’s customer service, sales, and applicable operation standards.  Responsibilities consist of supervision of sales associates, cashiering, stocking, customer service and other retail needs.

    • Assists the Store Managers in the opening and closing policies and procedures
    • Assists management with all hourly sales associates to ensure proper coverage for all game day and non-game day store/portable locations
    • Greets and acknowledges all customers
    • Maintains retail store/portable standards, policies and procedures
    • Assist with customer’s needs and requests both on the floor and at the cashier area
    • Maintains cleanliness and safety standards throughout the retail stores/portables
    • Assists customers, offers excellent customer service and generates retail sales
    • Processes sales through the POS system, bags merchandise, follows all register procedures and handles cash accordingly
    • Recommends, selects and helps locate merchandise for customers
    • Ensures that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed
    • Routinely stocks and arranges merchandise on shelves
    • Verifies register balance at the beginning and the end of each shift
    • Maintains a clean and organized store/portable
    • Sets aside and notifies supervisor of defective, mismarked, mislabeled, incorrectly priced, shopworn or damaged merchandise
    • Watches for and recognizes security risks and thefts and reports to security/management
    • Assists with the execution of store promotions, gift-with-purchases, and other marketing/promotional activities

    Education and/or Experience

    • Prior retail management experience preferred (minimum one year)
    • Previous cash handling experience required
    • Prior experience working with point of sale (POS) system required
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • College degree in business or management preferred


    Computer Skills  

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and use of internet.    



    Language Skills                                             

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


    Mathematical Skills                                                     

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability      

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Work Hours                                                     

                This is a part-time position that requires days/nights, weekends and occasional holidays.
