  • Overview

    Under the direction of the Retail Operations Director, this role will be responsible to provide direction to supervisors and associates in accordance with the Club’s customer service, sales, and applicable operation standards.  Responsibilities consist of supervision of sales associates, cashiering, stocking, customer service and other retail needs.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Assists with the hiring and training of Assistant Managers, Retail Sales Associates and monitors the progress of sales associate training.
    • Manage and oversee daily store operations by assigning associates with tasks.
    • Manage and maintain retail store, kiosk and portable standards, policies and procedures.
    • Manage the store opening and closing duties of all retail locations.
    • Assists with all hourly retail associates schedules to ensure proper coverage for all game day and non-game day store/portable hours and responsibilities.
    • Assists with the cash room duties and cash management as it pertains to the POS system and store registers.
    • Monitors retail sales floor and cash wrap areas in all store locations, assists with guests’ needs and requests.
    • Works with Retail Operations Director and Inventory Manager to ensure inventory levels are maintained within the given store, kiosk and/or portable.
    • Maintains cleanliness and safety standards throughout the retail stores, kiosks and portables.
    • Communicates daily goals or initiatives to sales staff.
    • Conducts inventory counts to ensure merchandise levels are accurate.
    • Ensures that all merchandise is correctly labeled and displayed within the stores kiosks and portables.
    • Watches for and recognizes security risks, potential thefts, and reports them immediately to management and/or security.
    • Assists with store promotions, gift-with-purchases and other marketing/promotional activities.
    • Assists with Ad Hoc retail tasks as needed.

    Education/Work Experience

    • Retail management experience preferred (minimum of one year).
    • Previous cash handling experience required.
    • Prior experience working with point of sale (POS) system required.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • College degree in business or management preferred.

    Computer Skills  

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    

     

    Language Skills                                                

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

     

    Mathematical Skills                                                     

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

     

    Reasoning Ability      

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to the following weather conditions, which may include hot to cold temperatures and various forms of precipitation or inclement weather. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can vary from quite loud to moderate or quiet.

     

    Work Hours                                                  

                 This is a full-time position that requires availability during all home games and non-game days that are during the week/weekend, which could be a day/night shift, and could fall on a Federal Holiday.
