    This position is responsible for producing content for Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club digital and social media platforms from conception to completion. The candidate must have the ability to manage and prioritize several projects concurrently – both independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Conceptualize and produce video content for use on various platforms including broadcast/television, social media, in-stadium and brewers.com
    • Set up lighting, camera, and audio equipment for video shoots
    • Capture both non-game and in-game footage
    • Edit fully-produced features
    • Edit and update motion graphics for use in features
    • Render to specific codecs and formats
    • Suggest new ideas that continue to push the creative product forward, and enhance the overall quality and branding of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club
    • Occasional assistance with video and graphics projects for other departments

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Extensive experience with DSLR and professional camera systems
    • Skilled in production, from lighting set-up to audio recording
    • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere or other non-linear editing software
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
    • Strong video codec and file format knowledge
    • Must provide link to Demo Reel to be considered
    • Experienced with shooting sports
    • Strong working knowledge of baseball
    • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
    • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects
    • Pronounced ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to life
    • Strong ability to present creative ideas in a clear and professional manner
    • Ability to receive and respond to creative direction
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills
    • Must demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize and be extremely detail oriented
    • Strong self-starter and capable of working independently
    • Ability to work with – and excel in – a highly collaborative team environment
    • Good familiarity working with and posting to various digital and social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube
    • Ability to create both motion and static graphics with quick turnaround for use on social media, both from templates and from scratch
    • Ability to cut GIFs from raw video files and highlights quickly for use during games on social media
    • Ability to produce quick videos for use on social media during games or in response to current events

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Computer Skills  

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    

     

    Language Skills                                                

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

     

    Mathematical Skills                                                     

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

     

    Reasoning Ability      

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Work Hours                                                     

    Must have a flexible schedule, with availability to work game dates which will include some weekends and some holidays.
