  • Overview

    Summary Manages and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning physical structures of buildings and grounds. Point of contact for operations of sports and entertainment venues in Florida (Tropicana Field) including Client Services and for Performance Clean.

    • Serve as an internal contact point with clients by assisting with ongoing service matters and the preparation of other deliverables as required.
    • Assist with preparing operating processes and procedures that would allow Performance Clean to become Green Seal certified.
    • Responsible for resolving daily operational issues that are escalated to this position.
    • Reconciliation of hours in ABI for hours worked by cleaning staff as needed.
    • Coordinate, communicate and enforce operational processes and policies between field staff, office staff and management staff.
    • Complete monthly meetings and inspections with clients.
    • Assist in the creation and monitoring of training programs and standard operating procedures for each client site.
    • Organize related documents on the shared drive and work with HR to ensure the training program is being followed and documented.
    • Assist in the preparation of profitability analysis of all contracts and develop strategies to improve the profitability of accounts.
    • Check budgeted hours to actual hours worked to insure profitability of events at all venues.
    • Attend training classes on cleaning processes and techniques to become familiar with the industry.


    Supervisory Responsibilities                                                 

    Directly supervise event managers, supervisors and cleaners as needed. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred but not required; and three to five years related experience and/or training, preferably with cleaning/facilities company; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong operations background required, accounting experience preferred.


    Computer Skills  

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    


    Language Skills                                            

    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


    Mathematical Skills                                                 

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability      

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Required to travel to meet with clients and/or site managers as needed.



    Work Hours                                                 

    Regular business office hours are based on Client event schedules which will include hours for events occurring on weekends, evenings, some holidays and all game days. May be required to attend events at any of the venues contracted by PCL.
