    The Manager - Cross Cultural Marketing will work with Senior Director of Marketing, Marketing team, and Club’s senior leadership to create and execute marketing initiatives that target cross cultural markets by building brand awareness and affinity of the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club – with the ultimate goal of increasing our diverse fan base and consumer group, driving ticket sales, merchandise sales, and venue services.

    • Manage the development and execution of marketing initiatives that drive cross cultural consumer engagement.
    • Develop deep knowledge of key diverse audiences and use insights to help inform the development and delivery of cross cultural marketing plans and programs.
    • Identify core focus areas that represent opportunities to improve cross cultural brand health.
    • Engage with internal and external partners to ensure a successfully integrated marketing strategy, coordinating objectives across all business functions.
    • Work closely across marketing, communications and retail/merchandising departments to ensure that all campaigns and media align with cross cultural marketing initiatives and promotions.
    • Work closely with cross cultural marketing agency to support and execute the marketing plans and strategies within each individual market.
    • Develop strong relationships with key community and business leaders primarily within Southeastern Wisconsin.
    • Partner with diverse media outlets to create promotional programs geared toward introducing and strengthening the Brewers brand to cross cultural markets.
    • Cultivate the prospect database through outreach, registration and participation programs.
    • Support community and public relations efforts related to outreach and connection initiatives.
    • Create events and activities geared toward enhancing awareness with diverse markets, connecting the Brewers organization with future fans and customers.
    • Support group sales efforts and develop new ticket products that appeal to various and specific segments within cross cultural markets, with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue in ticket sales, sponsorship and venue services.
    • Other projects and duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Understanding of and exposure to U.S. and non-U.S. communities and cultures required
    • Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred
    • Proven experience building effective relationships with key stakeholders
    • Ability to influence and build sustainable relationships with strategic partners at all levels
    • Passionate, self-starter with strong project management skills and cultural fluency
    • Possess high standards, great attention to detail, and ease at working within a fast-paced environment

    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Computer Skills  

    To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    

     

    Language Skills                                             

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

     

    Mathematical Skills                                                   

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

     

    Reasoning Ability      

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

     

    Requires some business related travel.

     

    Work Hours                                                  

    Business hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm, however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays.
