Overview

We are looking for outgoing, motivated individual(s) to be a part of an exciting team. The Video Productions internship runs from March through the end of the 2018 Brewers season and offers the unique chance to be a part of the Milwaukee Brewers Productions crew with a focus on capturing and producing content for various Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club platforms. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit video assets for use on various platforms
  • Assist in lighting, camera, and audio equipment setup for video shoots
  • Assist in capturing both non-game and in-game footage
  • Upload, encode, and distribute video assets
  • Build and maintain video archive by organize assets and logging footage
  • Maintain/organize video equipment

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ideal candidates are working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or Film Production
  • Qualified individuals should be skilled in production from lighting to audio recording, and have a pronounced ability to conceptualize ideas and bring them to life
  • Candidates should possess a background in videography, editing, and/or motion graphics, with a strong interest in – and working knowledge of – sports
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills
  • Must provide link to Demo Reel to be considered. 

Computer/Camera Skills 

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have experience with DSLR camera systems, proficient with Adobe Premiere (or other non-linear editing software), familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and strong video codec and file format knowledge.

 

Work Hours

Must have a flexible schedule, with availability to work specific game dates up-front and approximately 35 hours per week.
