Overview

The Coordinator – Social Media/Marketing/Graphic Design is responsible for the design and production of all printed materials of the organization. This position will also assist in marketing efforts as needed, including social media for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design layout of stadium signage
  • Manage and compile souvenir game program
  • Assist Manager – Multimedia in developing static graphics to enhance game presentation
  • Manage production of Baseball Card Team Sets
  • Assist with photography requests as needed
  • Participate as member of the social media team
  • Pull tarp on field as necessary

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Computer Skills  

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    

 

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Strong graphic design skill set and proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Videography, photography, and photo editing experience preferred
  • Prior sports and entertainment Industry experience preferred

Language Skills                                             

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                   

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability      

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

Work Hours                                                  

Business hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5pm, however, additional hours may be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays.
